HEY come on in!

At any given moment in my house you could hear Blues Clues or The Wizard of Oz or any number of songs from Muddy Waters to Tod Agnew. The point is we like sound in my house, so in order to "Be still and know that I am God" you have to get up REALLY early, which I don't like to do.
But I know that if I want to know peace and have joy for the day then I HAVE to.  I have to be able to hear my loving Father whisper His instructions for my day. So my wonderful (Tab my husband) gets up and puts the coffee on while I brush my teeth and do the morning things, then I get my Bible and coffee, sit down and pray.
 I'm telling the Holy Spirit "Hey, I'm ready come on in and lead the way!", then I read and listen.  In a perfect world where Sarah (my 2 year old) sleeps late and the dogs( the 3 of them) don't need to go outside or bark I get about an hour or so, but most days it's not.  I have learned over the years to take what I can get and keep the lines open through the day. I need it. I love my family, but I need it!

My prayer for you today is that you're in a place in your heart where you want to tell God," Hey come on in!".  Your life will be a much richer and peaceful one.
