Trust

I was going to do something different for today, but a very good friend of mine is going through some things and it got me to thinking.  About trust. What is trust?
The dictionary says that trust is, 1) The reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing, confidence. 2) Confident expectation of something; hope.
God says trust in Him.  Can we do that? Can we have a reliance on God? In His strength, His ability? Do we really have hope in God?  It says in Heb 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
We can't always trust on people because, well we are people and we aren't perfect. But we can always trust on God.  With trust in God I know people who have been cured of life threatening diseases, gotten pregnant and had healthy babies, brought out of addictive lifestyles and now live life free from bondage. I can't tell you why bad things happen to good people but I can tell you that God loves you and wants you to have the very best.  It just takes trust
