Surprise!

Do you like surprises?  I LOVE them, especially the totally unexpected ones! Yes, a surprise is unexpected, but I mean the really unexpected ones! The ones that come seemingly out of no where, those are the ones I LOVE.
 That happened to me yesterday, our house is pretty old and it is cooled off by window a/c units.  There is one in each of the kids rooms and one upstairs on our landing and a big one that does our room, the kitchen and helps cool the big room (the center of our house).  Well, the big a/c unit is pretty old and doesn't quite do the job it should and it isn't very cost effective to say the least, but it is so needed.
Yesterday my wonderful (Tab), came home with a new one!!!!  We have been discussing looking at getting a replacement model, smaller, quieter, better cost effective etc. He said that his boss had GIVEN it to us, FREE!!!! What an unexpected surprise!!!!!!!  The only people who knew that we were even talking about getting a new one was my friend Kathie and her husband, Bobby.
God is like that, everyday with God is like an unexpected surprise, a new sunrise, a new life, a new way to bless you.  Isaiah 43:19 says, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in wilderness", and Lamentations 3:23, states, "They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness"  Our part in receiving these wonderful surprises is to be grateful and thankful.  The best way to do that is to simply tell Him THANK YOU!!
